Customize Parameters [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE METER / GAUGE SYSTEM 
    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Combination Meter / Warning or Display.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        WARNING

        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Driver Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer* ON Function to turn on/off the seat belt warning buzzer ON or OFF Combination meter assembly
        Front Passenger Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer* ON Function to turn on/off the seat belt warning buzzer ON or OFF Combination meter assembly
        Flasher Sound Volume Adjustment Medium Function to change the flasher sound volume Large, Medium or Small Combination meter assembly
        • *: This setting is only valid for the buzzer which sounds at 20 km/h (12 mph) or more
        DISPLAY

        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        ODO Display Time After IG OFF Setting 30 s Function to change the odometer display time 30 s, 60 s, 600 s or OFF Combination meter assembly
    2. Customizing with the combination meter assembly
      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: Settings.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        METER SETTING

        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Language English Function to change the multi-information display language English, Francais or Espanol Combination meter assembly
        Units miles (MPG) Function to change the multi-information display unit km (km/L), km (L/100km) or miles (MPG) Combination meter assembly
        Clock Display 12H Function to change the clock display unit 12H or 24H Combination meter assembly
        Tachometer Settings On(Self-Changing) Function to change the tachometer or hybrid indicator display On(Self-Changing) / Tachometer(Always) / HV Meter(Always) Combination meter assembly
        EV Drive Indicator On Function to turn on/off the EV drive indicator On or Off Combination meter assembly
        Switch Settings - Function to change the screen assigned to the TOP button on the steering pad switch assembly - Combination meter assembly
        Drive Info 1 Current Fuel Economy (Bar Type), Average Fuel Economy (After Reset) Function to change the item to be displayed on Drive Info 1 Current Fuel Economy (Bar Type), Average Fuel Economy (After Reset, After Start, After Refuel), Average Speed (After Reset, After Start), Elapsed Time (After Reset, After Start), Distance (Range, After Start), Other (Blank) Combination meter assembly
        Drive Info 2 Distance (Range), Average Speed (After Reset) Function to change the item to be displayed on Drive Info 2 Current Fuel Economy (Bar Type), Average Fuel Economy (After Reset, After Start, After Refuel), Average Speed (After Reset, After Start), Elapsed Time (After Reset, After Start), Distance (Range, After Start), Other (Blank) Combination meter assembly
        Drive Info 3 Average Fuel Economy(After refuel), Elapsed Time(After Start) Function to change the item to be displayed on Drive Info 3 Current Fuel Economy (Bar Type), Average Fuel Economy (After Reset, After Start, After Refuel), Average Speed (After Reset, After Start), Elapsed Time (After Reset, After Start), Distance (Range, After Start), Other (Blank) Combination meter assembly
        Interrupt Display On Function to change the interrupt display setting of each item On or Off Combination meter assembly
        Accent color (except Sport Package) White Heat Function to change the cursor color when selecting a displayed item White Heat or Titanium Silver Combination meter assembly
        Choose Needle Color (for Sport Package) Blue Function to change the needle color Blue, White, Red Combination meter assembly
        REV indicator (for Sports Package) On Function to turn on/off the REV indicator light On or Off Combination meter assembly
        REV Setting (for Sports Package) 4000 Function to change the REV indicator speed 2000 to 6000 Combination meter assembly
        REV Peek Function (for Sports Package) On Function to turn on/off the REV peek function On or Off Combination meter assembly
        Initialization - The setting items can be initialized - Combination meter assembly
