- REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
(Refer to REMOVAL (07/2015 -) )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
- Pull the upper part of the front pillar garnish LH toward the inside of the cabin to disengage the clip and the front pillar garnish LH from the base of the front pillar garnish clip.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Front Pillar Garnish Clip HINT:
Make the front pillar garnish LH hang from the front pillar garnish clip.
- While pushing the tabs of the front pillar garnish clip in the direction indicated by the arrow (A) shown in the illustration, disengage the front pillar garnish clip.
- Pull the garnish in the direction indicated by the arrow (B) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 guides and remove the front pillar garnish LH.
- Protect the curtain shield airbag assembly.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Adhesive Tape *2 Protective Cover *3 Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly - Cover the airbag with a piece of cloth or nylon and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Cover the curtain shield airbag with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish LH is removed.
- Cover the airbag with a piece of cloth or nylon and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.
- Pull the upper part of the front pillar garnish LH toward the inside of the cabin to disengage the clip and the front pillar garnish LH from the base of the front pillar garnish clip.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH
- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH LH
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Protective Tape NOTE:Do not forcibly pry the assist grip covers to prevent them from being deformed.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Disengage the 2 clips and remove the assist grip sub-assembly.
- Remove the 2 clips from the vehicle body.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.
- REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY LH
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Protective Tape NOTE:Do not forcibly pry the assist grip covers to prevent them from being deformed.

- Remove the 2 clips from the vehicle body.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.
- REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY RH

- REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side)
- REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER (for RH Side)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE VISOR HOLDER
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.
- REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Standard)
- Disconnect the connector from the inner rear view mirror assembly.
- w/ Rain Sensor:
- Disconnect the connector from the rain sensor.
- w/ Pre-collision System:
- Disconnect the connector from the forward recognition camera.
- Disconnect the connector from the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*A w/o Telephone Antenna *B w/ Telephone Antenna *1 Clamp *2 Fastener *3 Guide - - *a Front Pillar LH *b Front Pillar RH *c Rear Pillar RH *d Sliding Roof Drive Gear Sub-assembly - Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors from the front pillar LH.
- Disengage the 2 clamps from the front pillar RH.
- w/o Telephone Antenna:
- Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector from the rear pillar RH.
- w/ Telephone Antenna:
- Disengage the clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors from the rear pillar RH.
- Disengage the 12 claws and 11 fasteners.
- Slide the roof headlining assembly to disengage the 3 clips and guide as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Leave the 3 clips installed to the vehicle.
- Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the rear door as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.
- Remove the 3 clips from the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof)
- Disconnect the connector from the inner rear view mirror assembly.
- Disconnect the connector from the rain sensor.
- w/ Pre-collision System:
- Disconnect the connector from the forward recognition camera.
- Disconnect the connector from the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*A w/o Telephone Antenna *B w/ Telephone Antenna *1 Clamp *2 Fastener *3 Guide - - *a Front Pillar LH *b Front Pillar RH *c Rear Pillar RH *d Sliding Roof Drive Gear Sub-assembly - Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors from the front pillar LH.
- Disengage the 2 clamps from the front pillar RH.
- Disengage the clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors from the rear pillar RH.
- Disengage the 12 claws and 23 fasteners.
- Slide the roof headlining assembly to disengage the 3 clips and guide as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Leave the 3 clips installed to the vehicle.
- Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the rear door as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.
- Remove the 3 clips from the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
- Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
- Remove any residual weatherstrip sealant from the vehicle body using cleaner.NOTE:
Remove the sealant completely. Any residual sealant may transfer to other areas of the vehicle when removing/installing the interior parts.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
- Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
- Remove any residual weatherstrip sealant from the vehicle body using cleaner.NOTE:
Remove the sealant completely. Any residual sealant may transfer to other areas of the vehicle when removing/installing the interior parts.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
