Diagnosis System [09/2014 - 11/2017]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. Lighting system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.
  2. CHECK DLC3 
    1. Check the DLC3.
  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

  4. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM 
    1. If a LED headlight malfunctions, "Check Headlight System" is displayed on the multi-information display.

      HINT: 

      • In this case, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stores DTCs.

        Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 03/2019] 

      • When the system returns to normal, "Check Headlight System" is no longer displayed on the multi-information display.
