When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.

HINT:

If there is an open or short in the engine coolant temperature sensor circuit, the ECM stores DTCs. Troubleshoot the SFI system.

for 8AR-FTS: Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]
Active Test cannot be performed on the engine coolant temperature receiver gauge for TFT meter type.
