DTC P0765-7F: Shift Solenoid "D" Actuator Stuck Off; DTC P0775-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "B" Actuator Stuck Off [11/2017 - 11/2019]: Description
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 2024 Lexus RC 350, 2024 Lexus RC 300, 2023 Lexus RC 350, 2023 Lexus RC 300, and 2022 Lexus RC 350. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The ECM uses signals from the transmission revolution sensor (SP2) and transmission revolution sensor (NT) to detect the actual gear position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th gear).
Then the ECM compares the actual gear with the shift schedule in the ECM memory to detect mechanical problems of the shift solenoid valves, transmission valve body assembly or automatic transmission with transfer assembly (clutch, brake, gear, etc.).
