Removal [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for AWD)
Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]
- REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2018]

- DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR
- for Bank 1:
- Turn back the floor carpet.
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

- Disengage the clamp.
- for Bank 2:
- Turn back the floor carpet.
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

- for 2WD:
- Disengage the clamp.
- REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
- for Bank 1:
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

- Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: rear catalyst).

NOTE:
If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- for Bank 2 (for 2WD):
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

- Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: rear catalyst).

NOTE:
If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- for Bank 2 (for AWD with Front Floor Cover LH):
- Disengage the 6 clips and remove the front floor cover LH.

- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

- Disengage the 3 clamps.
- Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: rear catalyst).

NOTE:
If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- for Bank 2 (for AWD without Front Floor Cover LH):
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.
