Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Turn the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 11 clips and upper radiator support seal.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 3 screws.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    2. Remove the 4 screws and 4 bolts.

    3. Remove the 3 screws.

    4. w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:

      Disconnect the connector

    5. Disconnect the front television camera assembly connector.
    6. Disconnect the No. 4 engine room wire connector.
    7. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    8. Detach the 5 claws.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    9. Detach the 4 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

    10. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 6 nuts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 4 nuts and front bumper No. 2 extension sub-assembly LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Remove the screw.
    3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side support LH.
  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MAIN SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  12. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MAIN SEAL RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] )

  14. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER CENTER RETAINER 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front bumper upper center retainer.
  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER NO. 2 RETAINER 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper lower No. 2 retainer.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for all front bumper lower No. 2 retainers.
