DTC B150B: Lost Communication with Gigabit Video Interface [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2020 - ] ).

   OK

   Navigation system DTCs are not output.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM 

Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2015 - 08/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2017 - ] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Replace the harness and connector (GVIF cable) with a new or normally functioning one.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.

   HINT: 

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and multi-media module receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check for DTCs and check the display status of the multi-information display. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2015 - ] ).

   OK

   The audio information illuminates and DTC B150B is not output.

Result: 

OK 

END (GVIF CABLE IS DEFECTIVE) 

Result: 

NG 

See step  3

1. Replace the combination meter assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] ).
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.

   HINT:
