Installation [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the transmission floor shift assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 8.3 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the 6 wire harness clamps to the transmission floor shift assembly.
    3. Connect the 2 connectors.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 
    1. Install the No. 1 console box duct with the 2 clips.
    2. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the No. 1 console box duct.
  3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System: (Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2015 - ] )

    w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System: (Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2015 - ] )

  4. CONNECT FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Temporarily connect the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly to the connecting rod swivel with the nut.

      HINT: 

      The nut will be tightened to a torque specification during the shift lever position adjustment procedure.

  5. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

    (Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2015 - ] )

  6. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

    (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [09/2015 - ] )
