Installation [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT LH 
    1. Install the front suspension member reinforcement LH to the vehicle with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 50 N*m (510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT RH 

    HINT: 

    Install the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH 
    1. Install the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushes outside of the bush stoppers on the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      Be sure to install the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushes so that the cutouts face the front of the vehicle.

  4. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Temporarily install the front stabilizer bar with the 4 bolts and the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH and RH.

      NOTE:

      Install the front stabilizer bar so that the identification mark face vehicle right side.

  5. TIGHTEN FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Tighten the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

  6. TIGHTEN FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Install the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.

  7. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR LH 
    1. Install the engine under cover rear LH with the 2 screws.

  8. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH 

    HINT: 

    Install the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.

  9. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUBASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the engine under cover sub-assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUBASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Install the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.

  11. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the front stabilizer link with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 84 N*m (857 kgf*cm, 62 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

  12. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Install the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.

  13. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
    1. Install the No. 2 engine under cover with the 8 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

      (for bolt A)

      Torque: 27 N*m (275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf) 

      (for bolt B)

  14. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL 

    Torque: 140 N*m (1428 kgf*cm, 103 ft.*lbf) 

  15. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT 

    See step  40

  16. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. for HID Headlight:

      (Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2015 - ] )

    2. for LED Headlight:

      (Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2015 - ] )
