Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  5. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 
    1. Rotate the tensioner pulley counterclockwise to loosen the belt tension.

      HINT: 

      The pulley bolt for the belt tensioner has a left-handed thread.

      1. While turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise, align the holes. Insert a bar with a diameter of 5 mm (0.197 in.) into the holes to fix the belt tensioner in place.

    2. Remove the V-ribbed belt.
