Engine Oil Level Sensor Circuit [09/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

1. Remove the engine oil level sensor.

   for 8AR-FTS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2016 - ]

   for 2GR-FKS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - ]

2. Inspect the engine oil level sensor.

   for 8AR-FTS: Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - ]

   for 2GR-FKS: Refer to INSPECTION [10/2017 - ]

REPLACE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 

for 8AR-FTS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2016 - ]

for 2GR-FKS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - ]

1. Disconnect the K3 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance (for 8AR-FTS)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F64-1 (LOIL) - K3-15 (OILW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F64-1 (LOIL) or K3-15 (OILW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F64-2 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Standard Resistance (for 2GR-FKS)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F117-1 (LOIL) - K3-15 (OILW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F117-1 (LOIL) or K3-15 (OILW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
