DTC C1AE7-96: Ultrasonic Sensor (Rear Left Center) Component Internal Failure [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. According to the display on the GTS, check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes 

2. According to the display on the GTS, clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   "C1AE7-96" is output	B
   "C1AE7-96" and "C1AE7-87" are output	C

2. Inspect the rear center ultrasonic sensor LH.

   Refer to INSPECTION [09/2020 - ]

REPLACE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - ]

1. Replace the rear center ultrasonic sensor LH with a new or normally functioning one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2020 - ]

   HINT: 

   To check if the ultrasonic sensor is functioning correctly, replace it with another ultrasonic sensor.
