DTC C1AE2-96: Ultrasonic Sensor (Front Left Center) Component Internal Failure [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Only DTC C1AE2-96 is output	B
   DTC C1AE2-96 and C1AE2-87 are output	C

GO TO DTC (C1AEC-287). Refer to  DTC C1AE2-87: Ultrasonic Sensor (Front Left Center) Missing Message [09/2020 - ]

1. Remove the front center ultrasonic sensor LH.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2020 - ]

2. Inspect the front center ultrasonic sensor LH.

   Refer to INSPECTION [09/2020 - ]

REPLACE FRONT CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - ]

1. Replace the front center ultrasonic sensor LH with a known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2020 - ]

   HINT: 

   All of the sensors are interchangeable. To confirm whether a sensor is functioning normally, switch it with a known good sensor from the other end of the vehicle.
