Removal [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - ]

  2. REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - ] 

  3. REMOVE WIRING HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET 
    1. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness from the wiring harness clamp bracket.

    2. Remove the nut and wiring harness clamp bracket from the timing chain cover assembly.
  4. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY 
    1. Using a screwdriver or equivalent with its tip wrapped in protective tape, hold the water pump pulley.

      *a Protective Tape
      *b Hold
      *c Turn
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.
  5. REMOVE NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt and No. 2 idler pulley sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 15 bolts, engine water pump assembly and water pump gasket.
