On-Vehicle Inspection [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  2. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
    2. Start the engine.
    3. Measure the continuity of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.
      WARNING:

      Be careful of the V-ribbed belt when measuring with the engine running.

      Standard Continuity

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - Switch body Idling No Continuity
      1 - Switch body Engine stopped Continuity

      If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

    4. Reconnect the engine oil pressure switch connector.
  3. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 103
