- Check the charging system.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - GENERATOR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the F102 ECM connector.
- Disconnect the F83 generator assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F83-2 (LIN) - F102-135 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω F83-2 (LIN) or F102-135 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
