Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Apply MP grease to the lip of a new timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal.
2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover assembly edge.

   • SST: 09506-3501009223-22010 

   Standard Depth

   0 to 1.0 mm (0 to 0.0394 in.)

   NOTE:

   • Keep the lip free from foreign matter.
   • Do not tap in the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal at an angle.
   • Do not tap in the timing gear case or timing chain case oil seal excessively.

1. Install the crankshaft timing gear key to the crankshaft.

1. Align the crankshaft timing gear key with the key groove of the crankshaft pulley, and slide on the crankshaft pulley.
2. Using SST and a 22 mm deep socket wrench, hold the crankshaft pulley and install the crankshaft pulley set bolt.

   Torque: 330 N.m (3365 kgf/cm, 243 ft.lbf)
