Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  2

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  7. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 
    1. Release the V-ribbed belt tension by turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise and remove the V-ribbed belt from the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.

      HINT: 

      The pulley bolt for the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly is reverse threaded.

    2. Rotate the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise to align the holes and then insert a 5 mm hexagon wrench to secure the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly in place.
