Replacement [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REPLACE STRAIGHT PIN 
    NOTE:

    It is not necessary to remove the straight pins unless they are being replaced.

    1. Using a plastic hammer, tap in new straight pins to the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      *a Upper Side *b Lower Side
      *c Front Side *d Rear Side

      Standard Protrusion Height

      Item Specified Condition
      Straight Pin (A) 23 mm (0.906 in.)
      Straight Pin (B) 11 mm (0.433 in.)
      Straight Pin (C) 9 mm (0.354 in.)
      Straight Pin (D) 6 mm (0.236 in.)
  2. REPLACE STUD BOLT 
    NOTE:

    If a stud bolt is deformed or its threads are damaged, replace it.

    1. Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, install the stud bolts.

      *a Upper Side *b Lower Side
      *c 26.5 mm (1.04 in.) *d 18 mm (0.709 in.)
      *e 50 mm (1.97 in.) *f 14 mm (0.551 in.)
      *g 13 mm (0.512 in.) *h 29 mm (1.14 in.)

      Stud Bolt (A) 

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      Stud Bolt (B) 

      Torque: 9.0 N.m (92 kgf/cm, 80 in.lbf)
