Removal [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Avoid physical shock to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
    • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
    • This accelerator pedal sensor assembly does not require lubrication.
    • Do not apply oil or other lubrication to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly. If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.
    1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal sensor assembly connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
      NOTE:

      If the accelerator pedal sensor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Separate the rod of the accelerator pedal sensor assembly from the accelerator pedal assembly to remove the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
  2. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL PAD 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the accelerator pedal pad.

  3. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and accelerator pedal assembly.
