Inspection [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Temperature Sensor)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 30°C (86°F) 2.647 to 3.021 kΩ
      NOTE:

      If checking the temperature sensor in water, be careful not to allow water to contact the terminals. After checking, wipe the water off the temperature sensor.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the temperature sensor.
