Parking Light/Daytime Running Light Circuit [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK LIGHTS 
    1. Check the illumination of each parking lights and daytime running lights.

      Result

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Active Test 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Clearance Light Parking lights OFF or ON -
      Daytime Running Light Daytime running lights OFF or ON This Active Test can only be performed when the customization item DRL function is set to "ON" using the Techstream.

    1. Interchange the No. 1 headlight clearance LED unit LH with RH and connect the connectors.

  4. CHECK OPERATION (PARKING LIGHT) 
    1. Check the operation of the parking light of the No. 1 headlight clearance LED unit LH.

    1. Return the No. 1 headlight clearance LED unit LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors.
    2. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.
