Front Side Marker Light Circuit [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Active Test 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Clearance Light Parking lights OFF or ON -

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Active Test

      OK

      Front side marker lights illuminate.

  2. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2020 - ]

  3. CHECK OPERATION (FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT) 
    1. Check the operation of the front side marker light of the headlight unit assembly LH.

      OK

      Front side marker light of the headlight unit assembly LH operate normally.

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [09/2020 - ] 

  4. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly RH with LH and connect the connectors.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2020 - ]

      Result

  5. CHECK OPERATION (FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT) 
    1. Check the operation of the front side marker light of the headlight unit assembly RH.

      OK

      Front side marker light of the headlight unit assembly RH operate normally.

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - ]
