Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [04/2013 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [09/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2020 - ]

  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2020 - ]

  4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT 

    See step  9

  5. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE 

    See step  10

  6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  11

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  12

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the radiator hose clamp.

    2. Remove the radiator hose clamp from the fan shroud assembly.
    3. Remove the bolt to disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly from the fan shroud assembly.
  10. REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE COOLING FAN WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the cooling fan wire connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps to remove the cooling fan wire.
  12. REMOVE FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and fan.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and No. 2 fan.

  14. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Disconnect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 cooling fan motor.
