Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV) 
    1. Disengage the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose assembly from the purge valve (purge VSV).

    2. Disconnect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.

      *1 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).
    4. Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).
    5. Disengage the clamp from the purge valve (purge VSV).
    6. Remove the bolt and purge valve (purge VSV) from the intake manifold.
    7. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the No. 1 check valve.

      *1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 No. 2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *3 No. 1 Check Valve
    8. Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose from the No. 1 check valve.
    9. Remove the No. 1 check valve from the bracket.
