DTC P0894-00: Transmission Component Slipping; DTC P2713-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019]: Description
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 2024 Lexus IS 350, 2024 Lexus IS 300, 2023 Lexus IS 350, 2023 Lexus IS 300, and 2022 Lexus IS 350. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Shift solenoid valve SLT controls the transmission line pressure for smooth transmission operation based on signals from the throttle position sensor and vehicle speed sensor. The ECM adjusts the current to shift solenoid valve SLT to control the hydraulic line pressure coming from the primary regulator valve.
Appropriate line pressure assures smooth shifting with varying engine outputs.

Transmission Component Slipping |
All of the following conditions are met (2-trip detection logic):
- Engine coolant temperature is 40°C (104°F) or higher.
- ATF temperature is 10°C (50°F) or higher.
- The vehicle is driven with the shift lever in D.
- No malfunctions are detected in shift solenoid valve S1, S2, S3, S4, SR, SL1, SL2 and SLT, transmission revolution sensors (NT and SP2), engine coolant temperature sensor, knock control sensor, electronic throttle, ATF temperature sensor.
- The difference in speed between the turbine and output shaft is higher than the normal condition in each shift position.
|
- Shift solenoid valve SLT remains open or closed
- Shift solenoid valve S1, S2, S3, S4 or SL2 remains open or closed
- Gear 6 incorrect ratio (sequence valve) or 1-2 shift valve is stuck
- Transmission valve body assembly is blocked
- Automatic transmission with transfer assembly (clutch, brake, gear, etc.)
