Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  3

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  11

  8. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  10. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING 
    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness clamp bracket from the water inlet housing.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts and separate the water inlet housing from the engine water pump assembly.

    4. Remove the No. 1 water inlet housing gasket from the engine water pump assembly.
    5. Slide the 2 clips and remove the water inlet hose from the water inlet housing and front water by-pass joint.

    6. Slide the clip and remove the water inlet housing from the No. 3 water by-pass hose.

  11. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY 
    1. Using a screwdriver or equivalent, hold the water pump pulley.

      *a Protective Tape
      *b Hold
      *c Turn

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.
  12. REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 9 bolts, engine water pump assembly and water pump gasket.
