DTC P0745-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Trouble Codes.

   Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Only DTCs P0745-7F and P2713-7F are output	A
   Only DTCs P0745-7F and P0870-15 are output	B
   P0745-7F, P0870-15, P2713-7F and other DTCs are output	C

   HINT: 

   If DTCs other than P0745-7F, P0870-15 and P2713-7F are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

GO TO DTC P0870-15 FLOWCHART. Refer to  DTC P0870-15: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Short to Battery or Open [10/2017 - 09/2019]

GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2018 - 09/2019]

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2017 - ]

   Powertrain > Transmission > Clear DTCs 

   HINT: 

   Write down the currently output DTCs before clearing them.

2. Start the engine, drive at a low vehicle speed and perform the inspection.

1. Remove the shift solenoid valve SL1.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   Terminal 1 of the shift solenoid valve SL1 - terminal 2	20°C (68°F)	5.0 to 5.6 Ω

3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 of the shift solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.

   OK

   Valve moves and makes an operating sound.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPLACE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL1. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2016 - ] 

1. Remove the shift solenoid valve SLT.

   Refer to DISASSEMBLY [04/2013 - ]

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   Terminal 1 of the shift solenoid valve SLT - terminal 2	20°C (68°F)	5.0 to 5.6 Ω

3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 of the shift solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.
