DTC P2713-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Trouble Codes.

      Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

    5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Only DTC P2713-7F is output A
      P2713-7F and one or more of the following DTCs are output: P0745-7F, P0770-7F, P0775-7F, P0795-7F, P2807-7F, P2816-7F B
      P0745-7F, P0770-7F, P0775-7F, P0795-7F, P2713-7F, P2807-7F or P2816-7F and other DTCs are output C

      HINT: 

      If any DTCs other than P0745-7F, P0770-7F, P0775-7F, P0795-7F, P2713-7F, P2807-7F and P2816-7F are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

  2. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT 
    1. Remove the shift solenoid valve SLT.

      *1 Shift Solenoid Valve SLT

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [04/2013 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Terminal 1 of the shift solenoid valve SLT - terminal 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
    3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 of the shift solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      OK

      Valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2016 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. INSPECT TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the transmission valve body assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2016 - ]

      OK

      There is no foreign matter on each valve and they operate smoothly.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2016 - ]

    OK

  4. INSPECT TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the torque converter assembly.

      Refer to INSPECTION [10/2017 - ]

      OK

      The torque converter assembly operates normally.

      Result

      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2016 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2016 - ] 

  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Trouble Codes.

      Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

    5. Check if DTCs other than P2713-7F are output.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Only DTCs P2713-7F and P0745-7F are output A
      • Only DTCs P2713-7F, P0770-7F and P0775-7F are output
      • Only DTCs P2713-7F and P0775-7F are output
      B
      • Only DTCs P2713-7F, P0770-7F and P0795-7F are output
      • Only DTCs P2713-7F and P0795-7F are output
      • Only DTCs P2713-7F, P0795-7F and P2807-7F are output
      C
      Only DTCs P2713-7F and P2807-7F are output D
      Only DTCs P2713-7F and P2816-7F are output E

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC P0745-7F FLOWCHART. Refer to  DTC P0745-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019] 

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC P0775-7F FLOWCHART. Refer to  DTC P0775-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "B" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019] 

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC P0795-7F FLOWCHART. Refer to  DTC P0795-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "C" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019]  

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC P2807-7F FLOWCHART. Refer to  DTC P2807-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "G" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019] 

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC P2816-7F FLOWCHART. Refer to  DTC P2816-7F: Pressure Control Solenoid "H" Actuator Stuck Off [10/2017 - 09/2019]
