Removal [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1 [10/2017 - 11/2021], or see step  1 [11/2021 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2017 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [09/2020 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  33

  4. INSTALL OIL PIPE WITH STRAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    See step  34

  5. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

    2. Remove the clip from the engine oil level sensor.

    3. Detach the clamp and remove the 2 nuts from the engine oil level sensor.

  6. REMOVE OIL LEVEL SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Remove the oil level sensor bracket.
