Removal [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

  1. SEPARATE FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Move the shift lever to N.
    2. Remove the clip and pin, and separate the floor shift gear shifting rod sub-assembly from the transmission control shaft lever RH.

  2. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

    2. Remove the nut, spring washer and transmission control shaft lever RH from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

    3. Pry out the nut stopper and remove the lock nut and the nut stopper from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

      *1 Nut Stopper
      *2 Lock Nut
    4. Remove the bolt and park/neutral position switch assembly from the automatic transmission assembly.

      HINT: 

      Make sure that the manual valve lever shaft has not been rotated prior to installing the park/neutral position switch assembly as the detent spring may become detached from the manual valve lever shaft.
