Adjustment [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

- SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SHAFT LEVER RH
- Move the shift lever to N.
- Remove the nut and spring washer, and separate the transmission control shaft lever RH from the park/neutral position switch assembly.
- ADJUST PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Remove the bolt from the park/neutral position switch assembly.
*a Neutral Basic Line *b Groove - Clean the bolt and the bolt hole.
- Align the neutral basic line with the groove as shown in the illustration.
- Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads on the end of the bolt.
Adhesive
Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent
- Hold the park/neutral position switch assembly in that position and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 12.8 N.m (131 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf)
- After the adjustment, perform the park/neutral position switch assembly operation check.
See step 1
- Remove the bolt from the park/neutral position switch assembly.
- INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL SHAFT LEVER RH
- Install the transmission control shaft lever RH to the park/neutral position switch assembly with the spring washer and nut.
Torque: 15.7 N.m (160 kgf/cm, 12 ft.lbf)
- Install the transmission control shaft lever RH to the park/neutral position switch assembly with the spring washer and nut.
