Disassembly [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING 
    1. Remove the front oil pump body O-ring from the oil pump assembly.

  2. FIX OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Place the oil pump assembly on the torque converter assembly.

      *1 Torque Converter Assembly
  3. REMOVE CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING 
    1. Remove the 3 clutch drum oil seal rings from the stator shaft assembly.

  4. REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, remove the 14 screws and stator shaft assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING 
    1. Remove the front oil pump body O-ring from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the front oil pump body sub-assembly from the torque converter assembly.
  6. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR 
    1. Remove the front oil pump drive gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR 
    1. Remove the front oil pump driven gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the front oil pump oil seal from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

      *1 Protective Tape
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the bushing or oil pump body.

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
