Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR 
    1. for Bank 1:
      1. Turn back the floor carpet.
      2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

      3. Disengage the clamp.
    2. for Bank 2:
      1. Turn back the floor carpet.
      2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

      3. Disengage the clamp.
  3. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1) 
    1. Disengage the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

    2. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2) 
    1. Disengage the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

    2. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
