Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE CENTER NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE 

    See step  5

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    See step  6

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  9. REMOVE ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.

    2. Remove the engine oil temperature sensor from the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      If the engine oil temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine oil temperature sensor.
