Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY LH
- Disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly LH connector.
- Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly LH from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.NOTE:
- Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly LH (connecting surface with the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH).
- If the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly LH has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly LH.
*1 O-ring
- Disengage the wire harness clamp.
- DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE

- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

- REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY RH
- Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly RH connector.
- Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly RH from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.NOTE:
- Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly RH (connecting surface with the cylinder head cover sub-assembly).
- If the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly RH has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly RH.

- Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly RH connector.
