Removal [11/2021 - 09/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 09/2022] 

  2. REMOVE FUEL PUMP WITH FILTER ASSEMBLY (for Brush Type Motor) 

    Refer to DISASSEMBLY [11/2021 - 09/2022] 

  3. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY (for Brush Type Motor) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 fuel suction support from the fuel filter.

    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, remove the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

      *a Protective Tape
      NOTE:
      • Slowly pull out the fuel pressure regulator assembly because the O-rings are firmly installed between the fuel pressure regulator assembly and the fuel filter.
      • Do not damage the fuel filter.
    3. Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

      *1 O-ring
  4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP FILTER (for Brushless Type Motor) 

    Refer to DISASSEMBLY [11/2021 - 09/2022] 

  5. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY (for Brushless Type Motor) 
    1. Remove the clip from the fuel filter.

    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, remove the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
      NOTE:
      • Slowly pull out the fuel pressure regulator assembly because the O-rings are firmly installed between the fuel pressure regulator assembly and the fuel filter.
      • Do not damage the fuel filter.

    3. Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
