DTC P0013: Camshaft Position "B" Actuator Circuit / Open (Bank 1); DTC P0023: Camshaft Position "B" Actuator Circuit / Open (Bank 2) [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTC after recording the freeze frame data and DTC.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2021 - ]

   Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs 

5. Turn the engine switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
6. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 5 seconds.
7. Turn the Techstream on.
8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
9. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC P0013 or P0023 is output	A
   DTCs are not output	B

REPLACE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

1. Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   F162-2 - F152-16 (OE1-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   F162-1 or F152-17 (OE1+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   F184-1 or F152-15 (OE2+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F184-2 or F152-14 (OE2-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
