Kick Down Switch Circuit [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (KICK DOWN SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the A57 kick down switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A57-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω Result
Proceed to OK NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (KICK DOWN SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)

OK

- INSPECT KICK DOWN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Remove the kick down switch assembly.
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Remove the kick down switch assembly.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (KICK DOWN SWITCH ASSEMBLY - ECM)
- Install the kick down switch assembly.

- Disconnect the A116 ECM connector.
- Measure resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
