Typical Malfunction Thresholds

OFF malfunction 

  1. When both conditions below are met: OFF malfunction (A) and OFF malfunction (B), (C), (D), (E), (F) or (G)
    OFF MALFUNCTION (A)

    Oil pressure switch indication OFF
    OFF MALFUNCTION (B)

    Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 1st gear ratio 400 rpm or more
    OFF MALFUNCTION (C)

    Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 2nd gear ratio 400 rpm or more
    OFF MALFUNCTION (D)

    Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 3rd gear ratio 400 rpm or more
    OFF MALFUNCTION (E)

    Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 4th gear ratio 400 rpm or more
    OFF MALFUNCTION (F)

    Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 5th gear ratio 400 rpm or more
    OFF MALFUNCTION (G)

    Shift solenoid valve SLT ON malfunction

ON malfunction 

  1. When both conditions below are met: ON malfunction (A) and ON malfunction (B), (C) or (D) 2 detections are necessary per driving cycle:

    1st detection: temporary flag ON

    2nd detection: pending fault code ON

    ON malfunction (A) 

    1. Oil pressure switch indication ON

    ON malfunction (B) 

    1. When either condition below is met: Condition (1) or (2)
      CONDITION (1)

      Turbine speed / Output speed (NT / NO) 0.93 or more and 1.07 or less
      (when output speed less than 800 rpm)
      CONDITION (2)

      Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 6th gear ratio
      (Actual 6th gear)      		 -50 rpm or more and 50 rpm or less
      (when output speed 800 rpm or more)

    ON malfunction (C) 

    1. When either condition below is met: Condition (1) or (2)
      CONDITION (1)

      Turbine speed / Output speed (NT / NO) 0.759 or more and 0.889 or less
      (when output speed less than 800 rpm)
      CONDITION (2)

      Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 7th gear ratio
      (Actual 7th gear)      		 -50 rpm or more and 50 rpm or less
      (when output speed 800 rpm or more)

    ON malfunction (D) 

    1. When either condition below is met: Condition (1) or (2)
      CONDITION (1)

      Turbine speed / Output speed (NT / NO) 0.62 or more and 0.75 or less
      (when output speed less than 1000 rpm)
      CONDITION (2)

      Turbine speed - Output speed (NT - NO) x 8th gear ratio
      (Actual 8th gear)      		 -50 rpm or more and 50 rpm or less
      (when output speed 1000 rpm or more)
