DTC P0705: Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (PRNDL Input) [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / ECT / Data List / Shift SW Status (P Range), Shift SW Status (R Range), Shift SW Status (N Range), Shift SW Status (D Range).
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the F176 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

(Park/Neutral Position Switch Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the F176 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

(to Park/Neutral Position Switch Assembly) - Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the F176 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY - TCM)
- Disconnect the A118 TCM connector.

(to TCM) - Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

*: The voltage will drop slightly due to the turning on of the back up light.
