Removal [04/2013 - 10/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 rear bumper plate.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts.

    3. Remove the 6 clips.

    4. Remove the screw.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. Disengage the claw.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Disengage the 5 claws as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    7. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    8. w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.
