- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check if CAN communication DTCs are output.
Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2021 - ]

- INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR
- Remove the engine oil level sensor.

- Inspect the engine oil level sensor.

- Remove the engine oil level sensor.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the G3 combination meter assembly connector.
- Disconnect the D6 engine oil level sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G3-29 (OIL) - D6-1 (LVL) Always Below 1 Ω D6-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω G3-29 (OIL) or D6-1 (LVL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
