DTC B1507: Open in Turn Signal Circuit [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT LIGHTS 
    1. Inspect the illumination of each turn signal light.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Front turn signal light LH, side turn signal light LH and rear turn signal light LH do not blink. A
      Front turn signal light RH, side turn signal light RH and rear turn signal light RH do not blink. B
      Front turn signal light LH does not blink. C
      Side turn signal light LH does not blink. D
      Front turn signal light RH does not blink. E
      Side turn signal light RH does not blink. F
      Rear turn signal light LH does not blink. G
      Rear turn signal light RH does not blink. H

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - SOCKET PLUG ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the B5 socket plug assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G101-8 (LL) - B5-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2019 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - SOCKET PLUG ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the B6 socket plug assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G101-13 (LR) - B6-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2019 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SOCKET PLUG ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the B5 socket plug assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B5-2 - G101-8 (LL) Always Below 1 Ω
      B5-1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE SOCKET PLUG ASSEMBLY. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [08/2015 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  5. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [08/2019 - ]

    2. Inspect the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to INSPECTION [08/2020 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the K8 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G101-8 (LL) - K8-11 (TRNI) Always Below 1 Ω
      K8-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  7. INSPECT SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the side turn signal light assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

    2. Inspect the side turn signal light assembly LH.

      Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2019 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] 

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SOCKET PLUG ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the B6 socket plug assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B6-2 - G101-13 (LR) Always Below 1 Ω
      B6-1 - body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE SOCKET PLUG ASSEMBLY. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [08/2015 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  9. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly RH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [08/2019 - ]

    2. Inspect the outer rear view mirror assembly RH.

      Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to INSPECTION [08/2020 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG

  10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY RH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the J8 outer mirror control ECU assembly RH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G101-13 (LR) - J8-11 (TRNI) Always Below 1 Ω
      J8-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  11. INSPECT SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the side turn signal light assembly RH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

    2. Inspect the side turn signal light assembly RH.

      Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2019 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] 

  12. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the R25 rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R25-3 (TRN) - G101-8 (LL) Always Below 1 Ω
      R25-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [08/2015 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  13. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the R26 rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly RH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G101 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R26-3 (TRN) - G101-13 (LR) Always Below 1 Ω
      R26-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [08/2015 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG
