DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. w/ Navigation System
   1. Check if navigation system DTCs are output.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      Navigation system DTCs are not output.

2. w/ Audio and Visual System
   1. Check if audio and visual system DTCs are output.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      Audio and visual system DTCs are not output.

   Result

1. Disconnect the K32 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the K57 radio receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K32-2 (TX-) - K57-4 (CNL1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K32-3 (TX+) - K57-3 (CNH1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K32-2 (TX-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   K32-3 (TX+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - 09/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2017 - ]

2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and radio receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.

4. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes
