Tachometer Malfunction [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Check if a CAN communication DTC is output (Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

1. Use the Active Test to check the operation of the tachometer (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

1. Use the Data List to check the engine speed (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

   Check the engine speed when the engine is fully warmed up and the air conditioning and all electrical accessories are off.

1. Use the Data List to check the engine speed (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or normally functioning one (Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] ).

   The operation of the tachometer returns to normal.
