Installation [10/2015 - 05/2018]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Press the front stabilizer bracket LH against the frame toward the outside of the vehicle and temporarily tighten the bolt (A).

    2. Install the bolt (B), fully tighten the bolt (A), and then install the 2 bolts (C).

      Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Install the wire harness clamp to the front stabilizer bracket LH.
  2. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH 
    1. Press the front stabilizer bracket RH against the frame toward the outside of the vehicle and temporarily tighten the bolt (A).

    2. Install the bolt (B), fully tighten the bolt (A), and then install the 2 bolts (C).

      Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Install the 2 wire harness clamps to the front stabilizer bracket RH.
  3. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Install the 2 front stabilizer bar bushings to the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.

      *b Bushing Stopper
      Front of the Vehicle
      Outside of the Vehicle
      NOTE:

      When installing the front stabilizer bar bushings, make sure that the cutout faces the front of the vehicle.

  4. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Install the front stabilizer bar to the vehicle so that the identification mark is positioned on the right side of the vehicle.

  5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH to the front stabilizer bracket LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

  6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 72

  8. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the front stabilizer link sub-assembly LH to the front stabilizer bar and front lower suspension arm assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 84 N*m (857 kgf*cm, 62 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  10. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 FRAME CROSSMEMBER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the No. 2 frame crossmember assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 FRAME CROSSMEMBER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the No. 2 frame crossmember assembly.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 1 oil cooler bracket with the bolt and 5 nuts.

      Bolt (A) 

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

      Nut (B) 

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

      Nut (C) 

      Torque: 11 N*m (112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf)

  14. INSTALL OIL COOLER BRACKET 
    1. Install the oil cooler bracket with the bolt and 3 nuts.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

  15. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 70

  16. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 96

  18. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  19. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
