Inspection [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT (TRIP SWITCH)
- Check the resistance.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

(Light Control Rheostat (Trip Switch))If the result is not as specified, replace the light control rheostat (trip switch).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check illumination.
- Apply battery voltage to the light control rheostat (trip switch) and check that it illuminates.

Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 8 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the light control rheostat (trip switch).

- Apply battery voltage to the light control rheostat (trip switch) and check that it illuminates.
- Check the resistance.
