ECU Power Source Circuit [03/2014 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P46 tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P46-1 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 16 V Engine switch off Below 1 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P46-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Tire Pressure Warning ECU and Receiver)
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 2
- Disconnect the P46 tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector.
- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER. Refer to REMOVAL [03/2014 - ]
